Tesco Shanghai Garden Instant Curry Flavour Noodles

This is a Tesco own brand noodle. Made in China. As their other own brand noods are made in the UK, I wonder if Tesco order all their noods from Symington's who have recently changed from outsourcing to China to making their own in Yorkshire.

The noodles are nice and firm with pleasant flavouring. These are proper Asian deep fried noodles, and have more character than the soft and slimy air-dried UK ones. The curry sauce is a bit limp - not much heat. The flavour is a bit like lemon washing up liquid, so not much good there either. I don't mind that the sauce doesn't taste like what it's supposed so (what noods ever do?), and I don't mind the flavour being dirty - indeed, I expect and want it to be downright filthy - lots of salt and grease and strong flavours; I do mind when it's wishy-washy and has ugly flavours. Added to which I've just noticed that this has powdered chicken shit in it.

Fail.
