Tiger Tiger Indian Tikka Masala Instant Noodles

These are very tasty! Good chewy flavoursome noodles, and a damn fine sauce - interestingly spiced, and not too aggressive. It's warm, exotic and interesting, rather than kick you in the balls and laugh. 65p from Sainsburys for a 100g packet, these are better value than most noods from UK based companies (though not as good value as Asian companies). Made in China without any meat for Tiger Tiger, a UK distribution company, they were launched in 2012,  Chicken Tikka Masala is one of the most popular dishes in the UK; it is widely considered to be a recipe created in Britain, though no one is quite certain where. It tends to be pieces of chicken in a creamy, spiced sauce - a blend of the popular Indian chicken tikka and a wet masala (spice mix) designed for the British taste for a wet sauce. This product, as is common with noods, didn't resemble any tikka masala that one might recognise, but it's an attractive name, and the packet design is equally seductive.

Good stuff.
